Este atlas representa y describe las intervenciones basadas en catéteres en todo el rango de edad pediátrica, desde la vida fetal hasta la edad adulta temprana, con el objetivo de proporcionar una guÃa ilustrada paso a paso que ayudará al lector a dominar estas técnicas y aplicarlas en práctica cotidiana. Se ofrece instrucción clara sobre una amplia gama de procedimientos, incluido el acceso vascular, intervenciones fetales, dilatación de válvulas, angioplastia, implantación de stent, cierre de defectos, creación de defectos, implantación de válvulas, enfoques hÃbridos y otros procedimientos diversos. El atlas complementa el manual publicado anteriormente, Cateterismo cardÃaco para enfermedades cardÃacas congénitas, al presentar una gran cantidad de fotografÃas, imágenes y dibujos seleccionados o diseñados para facilitar la planificación, realización y evaluación de procedimientos diagnósticos e intervencionistas en el campo de las enfermedades cardÃacas congénitas. .
