Este libro presenta el estado del arte para los estudios de estrategias y tácticas para la obtención de presas en Argentina en diferentes regiones y cronologías (desde finales del Pleistoceno hasta momentos históricos). Los capítulos están relacionados con la realización de estas prácticas en sociedades de cazadores-recolectores, pastores y agricultores. Desde el punto de vista ambiental, muestran casos en diversas zonas como llanuras, montañas, bosques, costas marítimas, estepas y punas. Asimismo, el abanico de presas consideradas incluye ungulados (camélidos y ciervos), aves corredoras (Rhea pennata) y presas menores (mamíferos y peces). El libro está dirigido a profesionales y estudiantes de arqueología interesados en el análisis de tácticas y estrategias para la captura de presas. Cada capítulo ofrece un aporte importante en términos teóricos, metodológicos y técnicos. Además, estos trabajos poseen un alto valor comparativo sobre casos de estudio de cronologías y ambientes muy diferentes del hemisferio sur. Este libro es resultado del I Taller "Estrategias y tácticas para la obtención de presas en el pasado: su discusión desde la integración de diferentes líneas de evidencia" que se realizó en San Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina, entre los días 8 y 10 de Agosto, 2018. . |
