Este libro presenta nuevos estudios de investigación que abordan los intentos realizados por cientÃficos y profesionales para abordar algunas cuestiones clave de ingenierÃa en ingenierÃa de túneles, ingenierÃa geotécnica y cuestiones de sostenibilidad municipal que se están volviendo muy relevantes en el mundo actual. Las altas tasas de urbanización, los avances tecnológicos, las dificultades en la construcción de túneles subterráneos en depósitos de arcilla marina blanda y los graves hundimientos del suelo debido a la extracción excesiva de agua subterránea plantean muchos desafÃos en su gestión. Se seleccionaron artÃculos de la Quinta Conferencia Internacional GeoChina 2018: Infraestructuras civiles que enfrentan climas severos y cambios climáticos: del fracaso a la sostenibilidad, celebrada del 23 al 25 de julio de 2018 en HangZhou, China. |
