Esta tendencia, a veces inspirada en el trabajo teórico producido en Europa y Estados Unidos, ha mostrado tal especificidad y, a veces, alejamiento de las producciones del norte que nos obliga a centrarnos más profundamente en sus propios argumentos, métodos y contribuciones críticas. Este proyecto proporciona ensayos que exploran las particularidades de las formas latinoamericanas de pensar sobre el afecto y cómo pueden arrojar nueva luz sobre nuestra comprensión del género, la sexualidad y la política. This tendency, sometimes inspired by the theoretical work produced in Europe and the US, has shown such a specificity and sometimes departure from northern productions that it compels us to focus more deeply into its own arguments, methods, and critical contributions. This project provides essays that explore the particularities of Latin American ways of thinking about affect and how they can shed new light into our understanding of, gender, sexuality and politics.
