Este volumen de actas narra los trabajos presentados en la 35.ª Conferencia CIB W78 2018: TI en diseño, construcción y gestión, celebrada en Chicago, IL, EE. UU., en octubre de 2018. El tema de la conferencia se centró en fomentar, alentar y promover la investigación. y desarrollo en la aplicación de tecnologÃas de la información (TI) integradas a lo largo del ciclo de vida del diseño, construcción y ocupación de edificios e instalaciones relacionadas. El CIB (Consejo Internacional para la Investigación y la Innovación en la Construcción de Edificios) se estableció en 1953 como una asociación cuyos objetivos eran estimular y facilitar la cooperación internacional y el intercambio de información entre institutos gubernamentales de investigación en el sector de la edificación y la construcción, con énfasis en aquellos institutos comprometidos. en campos técnicos de investigación. La conferencia reunió a más de 200 académicos de 40 paÃses, quienes presentaron los conceptos y métodos innovadores presentados en esta colección de artÃculos.
