Destacando las últimas investigaciones sobre TafonomÃa Actualista (TA), este libro presenta los resultados de una reunión que tuvo lugar en Montevideo, Uruguay, en octubre de 2017. Sus respectivos capÃtulos ofrecen conocimientos valiosos sobre la arqueologÃa, la fauna y la flora de invertebrados y vertebrados de América del Sur. En los últimos años, ha habido un aumento de nuevas investigaciones sobre TA, como lo demuestran numerosos artÃculos, charlas, tesis, etc. Sin embargo, todavÃa hay muy pocos libros sobre TA o incluso artÃculos de revistas dedicados. Como reflejo de la nueva madurez de la disciplina, este libro, escrito por autores sudamericanos, ofrece un recurso único para académicos y estudiantes de PaleontologÃa, GeologÃa y BiologÃa de todo el mundo. |
