Resumen: |
This research was developed by some students of bachelor’s degree in basic education with a focus in English of Manizales University and the principal purpose was to determine the impact of some autonomous learning techniques to increase the English level of the students. The methodology is quasi-experimental and the importance of it resides in the necessity of training professionals who respond with the actual social requirement (globalization). To achieve this objective, the researchers implemented some techniques of data gathering like surveys and interviews and finally they applied a sample of the purpose that they formulated in some students who presented the test named OOPT before and after of the procedure and the results were highly satisfactory because they demonstrated that if we increase the practice of autonomous learning activities in students, then it is possible to increase their English level. Now, in the degree, coordinators are implementing some strategies that were included in the research and demonstrated to be beneficial for the students. |
