Este libro de acceso abierto presenta trabajos teóricos, empíricos y experimentales novedosos que exploran la naturaleza de las representaciones mentales que respaldan la producción y comprensión del lenguaje natural, y otras manifestaciones de la cognición. Una cuestión fundamental que se plantea en el texto es si las estructuras de conocimiento requeridas pueden modelarse adecuadamente mediante un formato de representación uniforme y, de ser así, cuál es exactamente su naturaleza.
