Este libro explora las caracterÃsticas teóricas y metodológicas distintivas asociadas con la realización de investigaciones éticas y respetuosas con familias jóvenes, junto con sus consideraciones y desafÃos únicos. Considerando que los padres y los niños pequeños son actores importantes y "primeros educadores" en el apoyo a la salud, el desarrollo y el aprendizaje infantil, este libro examina cómo se pueden conceptualizar las oportunidades de investigación dentro de este espacio privilegiado. Este volumen adopta un enfoque interdisciplinario para esta investigación, examinando temas como la identidad y el posicionamiento del investigador, cuestiones de consentimiento, nociones de poder y relaciones con las familias, métodos para recopilar datos y marcos para darle sentido a esos datos. En lugar de proporcionar métodos concretos de prácticas y herramientas, este libro ayudará a aumentar la conciencia de los investigadores que participan en investigaciones con estas familias jóvenes. Seguramente atraerá a estudiantes y académicos de educación y desarrollo de la primera infancia, asà como a aquellos preocupados por realizar investigaciones de manera ética y respetuosa. |
