Este libro presenta una actualización de la psicología social como espacio disciplinar y campo de investigación. En primer lugar, se discute la irrupción de métodos de investigación provenientes de otros nichos culturales en el ámbito académico instituido. Luego, los capítulos segundo y tercero discuten el papel de la Psicología Crítica para la emancipación comunitaria en entornos híbridos y el desarrollo de la teoría de Vygotsky en América Latina. Los capítulos cuatro y cinco ofrecen algunas preguntas sobre la cultura jurídica y política contemporánea. Los capítulos sexto y séptimo se preguntan cómo reconceptualizar los estudios sobre el Imaginario Social o la infancia. Los capítulos octavo y noveno presentan temas como performatividad, cibernética, subjetividades y redes tecnológicas en el apoyo social relacionado con la salud. En el último capítulo nos preguntamos: ¿Son las redes causa de la condición humana o resultado de ella? ¿Es la virtualidad una condición y, al mismo tiempo, un resultado de lo humano? ¿Qué podría ofrecer un enfoque etnográfico psicoanalítico para recuperar lo humano como experiencia íntima de vínculo en las redes sociales? Raudelio Machín Suárez, PhD es Psicólogo y obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad de La Habana. Es Director de la Magíster en Psicología e Intervención en Salud Mental de la Facultad de Educación y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Andrés Bello, Chile. Ha publicado: Integración en Psicoterapia: Nacimiento y muerte de un mito (1998); Causas epistemológicas del predominio del positivismo en la investigación educativa (2010); Imaginario político cubano (2011); Organicidad de los movimientos políticos juveniles (2014), y más de veinte artículos científicos. "El presente volumen no sólo proporciona una visión esclarecedora, sino que puede servir como fuente visionaria para una psicología social nueva y liberada. This book presents an update on social psychology as a disciplinary space and research field. First, it discusses the irruption of research methods from other cultural niches in the instituted academic area. Then, the second and third chapters discuss the role of Critical Psychology for community emancipation in hybrid settings and the development of Vygotsky's theory in Latin America. The four and five chapters offer some questions on contemporary legal and political culture. The Sixth and seventh chapters ask how to reconceptualise the studies on Social Imaginary or childhood. The eighth and ninth chapters present topics as performativity, cybernetic, subjectivities, and technology networks in health-related social support. In the last chapter, we ask: Are networks cause of the human condition or a result of it? Is virtuality a condition and, at the same time, a result of the human? What could offer a psychoanalytic ethnographic approach to recover the human as an intimate experience of bond in social networks? Raudelio Machin Suarez, PhD is a Psychologist and gained his PhD from the University of Havana. He is Director of the Magister in Psychology and Intervention in Mental Health at the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences at Andr©s Bello University, Chile. He has published: Integration in Psychotherapy: Birth and death of a myth (1998); Epistemological causes of the predominance of positivism in educational research (2010); Cuban political imaginary (2011); Organicity of youth political movements (2014), and more than twenty scientific articles. "The present volume not only provides illuminating insight, but may serve as the visionary source for a new and liberated social psychology. Judging from the contributions to the present volume, I find four attributes particularly notable: Value invested, Pluralist, Intellectually expansive and Temporally sensitive.
