El Simposio KSCV, la Conferencia Coreana sobre Varias Variables Complejas, comenzó en 1997 en un esfuerzo por promover el estudio del análisis complejo y la geometrÃa. Desde entonces, la conferencia se reunió con regularidad durante unos 10 años y luego decidió celebrarse cada dos años. Las conferencias sexta y décima se celebraron en 2002 y 2014 como conferencias satélite del Congreso Internacional de Matemáticos de Beijing (ICM) y el ICM de Seúl, respectivamente. El propósito del Simposio KSCV es organizar charlas de investigación de muchos académicos destacados del mundo, brindar una oportunidad para la comunicación y promover nuevos investigadores en este campo. |
