Este libro aborda las posibilidades de analizar la internacional moderna a través del pensamiento de Michel Foucault. Los autores cuestionan cuatro de las características más evidentes de nuestro mundo contemporáneo: "internacional", "(neo)liberal", "biopolítico" y "global" y, por lo tanto, llenan vacíos significativos en los estudios internacionales y de Foucault. Los capítulos analizan lo que ofrece o no una perspectiva foucaultiana para comprender los fenómenos internacionales y al mismo tiempo cuestionan muchas apropiaciones de la obra de Foucault. Este volumen transdisciplinario servirá como referencia para académicos y estudiantes de relaciones internacionales, sociología política internacional, economía política internacional, teoría/filosofía política y teoría crítica en general.
