Estas cinco dimensiones permiten comprender el papel del suelo en la prestación de servicios ecosistémicos y cuantificar los recursos del suelo midiendo, mapeando, modelando y gestionando. Cada dimensión se refiere a un aspecto especÃfico: contribución a los desafÃos globales (Capacidad), valor del suelo (Capital), estado actual del suelo (Condición), cómo las personas están conectadas al suelo (Conectividad) y desarrollo de buenas polÃticas (Codificación). ). Este libro considera la seguridad del suelo como una parte integral para enfrentar el desafÃo actual de mantener la salud humana y asegurar la sostenibilidad de nuestro planeta.
