Al abordar una comparación poco estudiada entre estos dos filósofos contemporáneos, los autores destacan las similitudes significativas en algunas de sus ideas fundamentales. Este volumen consta de once capítulos divididos en cuatro partes. La primera parte se refiere a las metodologías y principios fundamentales de los dos filósofos. Un capítulo introductorio describe temas históricos y sistemáticos centrales que surgen de los estudios recientes sobre Peirce y Husserl. La segunda parte trata sobre lógica, sus capítulos están dedicados a temas desde los Gráficos existenciales de Peirce y la filosofía de la notación hasta las nociones de lógica pura y lógica trascendental de Husserl. La tercera parte incluye contribuciones sobre filosofía de las matemáticas. Los capítulos de la parte final tratan de la teoría de la cognición, la conciencia y la intencionalidad. El capítulo final proporciona un glosario ampliado de términos centrales de la teoría de la faneroscopia de Peirce, explicándolos desde el punto de vista de la teoría de la cognición. . Tackling a largely understudied comparison between these two contemporary philosophers, the authors highlight the significant similarities in some of their fundamental ideas. This volume consists of eleven chapters under four parts. The first part concerns methodologies and main principles of the two philosophers. An introductory chapter outlines central historical and systematical themes arising out of the recent scholarship on Peirce and Husserl. The second part is on logic, its Chapters dedicated to the topics from Peirce's Existential Graphs and the philosophy of notation to Husserl's notions of pure logic and transcendental logic. The third part includes contributions on philosophy of mathematics. Chapters in the final part deal with the theory of cognition, consciousness and intentionality. The closing chapter provides an extended glossary of central terms of Peirce's theory of phaneroscopy, explaining them from the viewpoint of the theory of cognition. .
