Esta colección editada de acceso abierto explora los obstáculos que impiden y los caminos potenciales para mejorar el bienestar material y psicológico de los jóvenes en y desde África Occidental. Los contribuyentes van desde investigadores hasta profesionales, y ofrecen un conjunto transatlántico y transcontinental de perspectivas sobre la creciente evidencia de que, ya sea que residan en países pobres "subdesarrollados" o más ricos (OCDE), los jóvenes que viven en la pobreza y son nacidos en África o de origen africano descendencia se ven desproporcionadamente afectados por el fenómeno global de la creciente desigualdad de ingresos.
