Este volumen llena un vacÃo en la literatura entre los dominios de los Estudios de la Comunicación y las Ciencias de la Educación en los espacios fÃsico-virtuales a medida que se cruzan en el siglo XXI. Los capÃtulos se centran en el "lenguaje" (prácticas comunicativas en ciernes) y su intersección con espacios de aprendizaje analógicos y virtuales, reuniendo estudios que destacan el movimiento constante entre dimensiones analógicas-virtuales que remodelan continuamente los posicionamientos de identidad de los participantes. El lenguaje se entiende como el despliegue de una o más de una variedad, modalidad, encarnación, etc. del lenguaje en la creación de significado humano a través de espacios. Las actividades lingüÃsticas se exploran a través de una multitud de artefactos, géneros, medios y modos literarios producidos en y entre sitios. Los autores van más allá de los enfoques de "mejores prácticas" y, en cambio, presentan prácticas comunicativas de "cómo explorar" para investigadores, estudiantes y profesores. Este libro será de interés para lectores situados en las áreas de alfabetización, literatura, bi/multilingüismo, multimodalidad, antropologÃa lingüÃstica, lingüÃstica aplicada y campos relacionados. This volume fills a gap in the literature between the domains of Communication Studies and Educational Sciences across physical-virtual spaces as they intersect in the 21st century. The chapters focus on "languaging" - communicative practices in the making - and its intersection with analogue and virtual learning spaces, bringing together studies that highlight the constant movement between analogue-virtual dimensions that continuously re-shape participants' identity positionings. Languaging is understood as the deployment of one or more than one language variety, modality, embodiment, etc in human meaning-making across spaces. Languaging activities are explored through a multitude of literary artefacts, genres, media, and modes produced in and across sites. The authors go beyond "best practice" approaches and instead present "how-to-explore" communicative practices for researchers, learners and teachers. This book will be of interest to readers situated in the areas of literacy, literature, bi/multilingualism, multimodality, linguistic anthropology, applied linguistics, and related fields.
