Este libro evalúa críticamente el estado actual del conocimiento sobre nuevas e importantes tecnologías de detección, por ejemplo, espectrometría de masas, espectrometría de masas en tándem, detección de biosensores e imágenes de tejidos, en relación con agentes químicos y biológicos tóxicos. En general, los principales temas discutidos se refieren a los riesgos y consecuencias de los agentes químicos y biológicos para la salud humana en general, con especial énfasis en todas las vías bioquímicas y metabólicas, incluido el sistema reproductivo. También se discuten el exposoma, los riesgos genéticos y el medio ambiente, varios agentes peligrosos para la salud, la evaluación de riesgos, la evaluación y preparación ambiental y el análisis de efectos subletales a nivel molecular. Para finalizar, el libro proporciona información completa sobre el diagnóstico de la exposición y sobre los problemas de salud relacionados con los agentes químicos y biológicos tóxicos. |
