Este volumen editado ofrece una comprensión de cómo la comunidad internacional, como un conjunto de actores importantes, incluidos importantes estados e instituciones intergubernamentales, ha respondido al importante desarrollo político y social de la Primavera Árabe. Los colaboradores analizan la respuesta de las organizaciones internacionales (ONU, UE, OTAN), las grandes potencias (EE.UU., Rusia, China, el Reino Unido), las potencias regionales (Turquía, Irán, Israel, Arabia Saudita) y las pequeñas potencias (Kuwait, Qatar). Por lo tanto, el libro hace una sólida contribución a la literatura existente sobre la Primavera Árabe en forma de análisis de política exterior y proporciona una visión general de la forma y perspectivas actuales de la política global.
