Este manual ofrece una visión multiforme de vislumbres teóricas, históricas, prácticas y personales de un paisaje caracterizado a grandes rasgos como teatro y performance irlandeses contemporáneos. Al reunir un espectro de voces y sensibilidades en cada una de sus cuatro secciones (Historias, Primeros planos, Interfaces y Reflexiones), echa una mirada a los últimos sesenta años aproximadamente para recordar, analizar y evaluar el legado reciente del teatro. y rendimiento en esta isla. Si bien ofrece información, resúmenes y reflexiones del pensamiento actual a lo largo de sus capÃtulos, este libro servirá de manera muy útil como alimento para el pensamiento y un trampolÃn para la curiosidad. Al ofrecer algo diferente en su combinación de temas y perspectivas, de modo que superficies no examinadas previamente puedan salir a la luz individualmente y en conjunto con otros ensayos, es un recurso amplio e indispensable en los estudios del teatro irlandés. |
