Este manual explora las complejas relaciones entre dos grandes escuelas de filosofía continental: el idealismo y el existencialismo alemanes. Si bien se piensa comúnmente que los existencialistas rechazaron el idealismo por considerarlo demasiado abstracto y negligente con la experiencia concreta del individuo, los capítulos de esta colección revelan que los idealistas alemanes, de hecho, anticiparon muchas ideas existencialistas clave.
