Este manual presenta las concepciones y principios centrales de cada aspecto de la filosofía sistemática de Hegel. En veintiocho capítulos vinculados temáticamente escritos por destacados expertos internacionales, el Manual Palgrave Hegel proporciona resúmenes académicos confiables de cada tema, ilumina las principales cuestiones y debates y detalla de manera concisa las opiniones consideradas de cada colaborador. Los estudios recientes cuestionan las lecturas tradicionales, en gran medida antikantianas, de Hegel, centrándose en cambio en la apropiación que hace Hegel de la epistemología kantiana para reconciliar el idealismo con el rechazo del fundacionalismo, el coherentismo y el escepticismo. Centrado como Kant en mostrar cómo las unidades fundamentales subyacen a la profusión de acontecimientos aparentemente independientes, Hegel argumentó que la realidad está racionalmente estructurada, de modo que su estructura sistemática es manifiesta para nuestro pensamiento adecuadamente informado.
