Este libro reúne a un grupo internacional de académicos de estudios de alfabetización que han investigado las alfabetizaciones móviles en una variedad de entornos educativos. Al abordar la movilidad desde diversas perspectivas teóricas, el libro hace una contribución significativa a cómo se conceptualizan las alfabetizaciones móviles, y las tabletas en particular, en la investigación sobre alfabetización. El libro se centra en las tabletas, y en particular en el iPad, como un excelente ejemplo de alfabetización móvil, situándolo dentro del contexto más amplio de la alfabetización y la movilidad. El libro proporciona inspiración y dirección para futuras investigaciones sobre alfabetizaciones móviles, basándose en 16 capítulos que investigan la relación entre las tabletas y la alfabetización de diversas maneras. Juntos abordan las fuerzas complejas y múltiples asociadas con la distribución de las tecnologías mismas y los textos que median, y consideran cómo las aplicaciones, los adultos y los niños trabajan juntos cuando los iPads ingresan a la red de prácticas y arreglos materiales que constituyen el entorno institucional. |
