Las contribuciones de este volumen describen cómo se utilizan y diseñan las tecnologías para planificar, mantener, gobernar, demoler y destruir la ciudad. Los capítulos demuestran cómo las tecnologías urbanas moldean y son moldeadas por conceptos y principios fundamentales como ciudadanía, publicidad, democracia y naturaleza. Los numerosos autores exploran aquí cómo pensar el espacio urbano mediado tecnológicamente como parte de la condición humana. Por lo tanto, el volumen contribuirá al tan necesario debate sobre los futuros urbanos posibilitados por la tecnología desde la perspectiva de la filosofía de la tecnología. Esta perspectiva también contribuye al debate y al proceso de hacer que las ciudades sean "inteligentes" y justas. Esta colección atrae a estudiantes, investigadores y profesionales de los campos de la filosofía de la tecnología, la planificación urbana y la ingeniería. |
