La dolorosa realidad que enfrentan los refugiados y migrantes es uno de los mayores desafíos morales de nuestro tiempo y, a su vez, se está convirtiendo en un foco de importantes estudios. Este volumen examina el fenómeno global de la migración en sus dimensiones teológicas, históricas y sociopolíticas y cómo las iglesias y las comunidades religiosas han respondido a los desafíos de ese movimiento humano masivo. Las contribuciones reflejan perspectivas globales con contribuciones de académicos y contextos africanos, asiáticos, europeos, norteamericanos y sudamericanos. Los ensayos son interdisciplinarios, en la intersección de religión, antropología, historia, ciencias políticas, género y estudios poscoloniales. El volumen reúne una variedad de perspectivas, interrelacionadas por preocupaciones eclesiológicas y teológicas. |
