Basado en la información recopilada del Cuestionario de Necesidades Espirituales utilizado internacionalmente, este libro ofrece análisis de las necesidades espirituales y existenciales entre diferentes grupos de personas, como los enfermos crónicos, los ancianos, los adolescentes, las madres de niños enfermos, los refugiados, los familiares de los pacientes y otros. . Expertos de diferentes profesiones y contextos culturales discuten los antecedentes teóricos, los hallazgos empíricos específicos y la relevancia de abordar las necesidades espirituales.
