El Antropoceno se ha convertido en un campo de estudios en el que la influencia de la actividad humana sobre el Sistema Tierra y la naturaleza es a la vez la principal amenaza y la posible solución. La teorÃa de las representaciones sociales ha ido evolucionando desde la década de 1960. Vincula el conocimiento y la práctica en la vida cotidiana y es una forma eficaz de afrontar crisis sistémicas basada en el sentido común. Este libro reúne contribuciones clave de académicos latinoamericanos que trabajan con representaciones sociales en las ciencias sociales que son de relevancia conceptual para el estudio del Antropoceno y que investigan las consecuencias sociales de las complejas interrelaciones entre el sentido común y temas de relevancia global, como las contradicciones de el desarrollo sostenible, la construcción de riesgos más allá de la percepción del riesgo, la salud, la negociación y la gobernanza en el campo de la educación, la igualdad de género, la utilidad de la etnografÃa longitudinal y sistémica y los estudios de caso, y la agencia y el vÃnculo entre desigualdad, crisis y sociedad del riesgo en el contexto de COVID-19, presentando innovaciones teóricas y metodológicas de investigaciones españolas, portuguesas y francesas que rara vez han estado disponibles en inglés. • Este es el primer libro que aborda la relevancia de la TeorÃa de las Representaciones Sociales para el Antropoceno como era social • Presenta el alcance multidisciplinario de las Representaciones Sociales • Este libro cubre las contribuciones de investigación emergentes en la TeorÃa de las Representaciones Sociales de América Latina • Este libro presenta investigaciones innovadoras y comentarios de investigadores establecidos en el campo. • Este libro multidisciplinario deberÃa estar en las bibliotecas de muchas disciplinas de las ciencias sociales y las humanidades. |

The Anthropocene has become a field of studies in which the influence of human activity on the Earth System and nature is both the main threat and the potential solution. Social Representations Theory has been evolving since the 1960s.It links knowledge and practice in everyday life and is an effective way to deal with systemic crises based on common sense.
