Este libro reúne artículos seleccionados de la Conferencia Internacional de 2019 de la Asociación de Comunicaciones y Tecnología Educativas de Hong Kong sobre el tema "Dar forma al futuro de la educación, la comunicación y la tecnología". Contribuye a una discusión académica que mira más allá de lo que los medios y la tecnología del futuro pueden ofrecer a la educación, y reflexiona sobre las mejores prácticas y lecciones aprendidas al aplicar los nuevos medios y tecnologías en una amplia gama de campos. Académicos de tecnología educativa, comunicación y educación superior comparten su trabajo de investigación en varios formatos, como investigación empírica, estudios de casos de mejores prácticas, revisiones de literatura, etc. Los temas de los artículos se dividen en cuatro áreas principales, que incluyen currículo, pedagogía y diseño instruccional; experiencias de enseñanza y aprendizaje con tecnología; recursos de aprendizaje en línea y educación abierta; y comunicación y medios.
