Este volumen enfatiza el papel de la educación química para el desarrollo y, en particular, para el desarrollo sostenible en África, al compartir experiencias entre especialistas de todo el continente africano y con especialistas de otros continentes. Considera todas las áreas y niveles de la educación química, presta atención específica a los principales desafíos conocidos y fomenta la exploración de enfoques novedosos. Los capítulos de este libro describen nuevos enfoques de enseñanza, exploraciones de enfoques y actividades en clase, analizan los desafíos educativos y las posibles formas de abordarlos y exploran posibilidades interdisciplinarias y sus beneficios potenciales para la educación química.
