Este libro analiza la geopolÃtica del desarrollo desde el punto de vista del Sur Global. Escrito por académicos y expertos en desarrollo de Ãfrica, Asia y América Latina, este volumen presenta reflexiones sobre diversas trayectorias históricas, actuales y futuras del desarrollo en el Sur Global contemporáneo. El libro está dividido en cinco partes. La Parte I se centra en la relación entre el desarrollo en el Sur Global y la globalización, y analiza la diversidad de situaciones en los distintos paÃses en términos estructurales. La Parte II critica y analiza el concepto y los paradigmas del desarrollo, haciendo hincapié en discursos y modelos de polÃtica alternativos. La Parte III se centra en el análisis de la relación entre el medio ambiente y el desarrollo, mostrando cómo las condiciones ambientales se han convertido en un factor clave en la renovación del pensamiento sobre el desarrollo. La Parte IV examina diferentes estrategias y concepciones culturales que constituyen la base del pensamiento y la polÃtica de desarrollo en diferentes campos. La Parte V aborda la construcción de conocimientos relacionados con el Sur Global, revisando la trayectoria teórica de los modelos de desarrollo y abogando por la construcción de nuevas ideas en torno a la región. Ofreciendo una mirada multidimensional del desarrollo en el Sur Global, este volumen beneficiará a académicos, expertos en desarrollo y estudiantes de posgrado interesados ​​en tener una visión global de las ideas de desarrollo en diferentes campos territoriales y culturales. |
