Este libro de texto presenta un enfoque integrador para pensar sobre métodos de investigación para la justicia social. En el panorama educativo actual, existe un interés creciente en el activismo académico y en formas de realizar investigaciones que promuevan la equidad educativa. Este texto proporciona una descripción general fundamental de importantes cuestiones teóricas y filosóficas especÃficas de este tipo de trabajo en la Sección I. En la Sección II, los lectores exploran diversas formas de pensar, recopilar y analizar datos, incluidos enfoques cualitativos, cuantitativos y de métodos mixtos. Finalmente, en la Sección III, a través de estudios de casos y narrativas de investigación, los lectores aprenderán sobre académicos reales y su trabajo.
