Este libro propone un enfoque interdisciplinario, multicultural y contemporáneo para examinar los vÃnculos controvertidos entre migración y delincuencia. Incluye investigación empÃrica sobre los migrantes y el crimen para explorar el riesgo y las realidades del crimen y la migración, asà como también cómo los medios de comunicación en diferentes regiones del mundo han cubierto actos violentos que han involucrado a migrantes (como vÃctimas o agresores). Los capÃtulos están escritos por autores de varios paÃses, incluidos el Reino Unido, TurquÃa, Eslovenia, Irak, Albania, Chile, la República de Moldavia y Rumania, y de diferentes campos de investigación, incluidos: criminologÃa, sociologÃa, ciencias polÃticas y comunicación. Sacan a la luz nuevas ideas, nuevas metodologÃas y resultados que podrÃan adoptarse y desarrollarse aún más. Este volumen permite a los lectores explorar el impacto de la migración en la delincuencia. |
