Este libro presenta los resultados de estudios experimentales y teóricos (incluida la simulación de dinámica molecular de primeros principios) de materiales nanoestructurados y nanocompuestos basados en metales, y recubrimientos multicapa a escala nanométrica fabricados por deposición física o química de vapor, pulverización catódica con magnetrón, aleación por electrochispa, absorción de capa iónica, fusión por contacto e irradiación con haz de electrones de alta corriente. También analiza nuevos métodos de formación de nanocompuestos, así como la estructura de las películas, recubrimientos y otros materiales a escala nanométrica depositados, su composición elemental y de fases, y sus propiedades físico-mecánicas, tribológicas, magnéticas y eléctricas. Por último, explora la influencia de varios métodos de modificación de superficies, como el recocido térmico, la modificación con láser pulsado y el tratamiento termomecánico y ultrasónico, así como diferentes propiedades de las películas nanoestructuradas. |
