Los mamíferos marinos son intrigantes para muchos: atraen la atención tanto positiva como destructiva de la humanidad. Hay muchas fuerzas que operan para afectar negativamente las vidas de ballenas, focas, manatíes, nutrias y osos polares, y este libro explora cómo se ha visto afectado el bienestar de los mamíferos marinos y cómo se han adaptado, se han movido, han respondido y, en ocasiones, han sufrido como resultado. del cambiante mundo marino y humano que los rodea.
