Este libro se encuentra a la vanguardia de la investigación en bioeconomÃa y abarca estrategias tanto tecnológicas como económicas para dominar la transformación hacia un sistema de producción basado en el conocimiento y la biologÃa. El volumen combina diferentes perspectivas internacionales con enfoques de los diversos campos de investigación. La bioeconomÃa es uno de los conceptos futuros de una economÃa que, si bien se basa en recursos biológicos renovables, también predice el crecimiento económico. Partiendo de una perspectiva económica del crecimiento, asà como de la economÃa del conocimiento y la innovación, las contribuciones brindan una visión general de los diferentes patrones y casos existentes y describen los prerrequisitos básicos para la transformación de la bioeconomÃa. Por lo tanto, el volumen es un recurso para expertos y recién llegados al campo de la bioeconomÃa que brinda información sobre el ciclo de vida de los productos de base biológica, detallando los últimos avances y cómo convertirlos en crecimiento económico. |

This book is at the cutting edge of the ongoing research in bioeconomy and encompasses both technological and economic strategies to master the transformation towards a knowledge- and bio-based production system. The volume combines different international perspectives with approaches of the various fields of research. Bioeconomy is one of the future concepts of an economy which, while based on renewable biological resources, also predicts economic growth. Starting from a growth-economic as well as knowledge- and innovation-economic perspective the contributions give an overview of different existing patterns and cases and describe the basic prerequisites for the bioeconomy transformation. Therewith, the volume is a resource for experts and newcomers in the field of bioeconomy giving insight into the life cycle of bio-based products, detailing the latest advancements and how to turn them into economic growth. . |
