Este volumen contribuido recopila las últimas mejoras en el campo de la biotecnología. Se centra en temas que comprenden cuestiones industriales, ambientales, agrícolas y médicas relacionadas con la tecnología y los estudios biológicos y exhibe la correlación entre el mundo biológico y la dependencia de los humanos de él. El libro está organizado en cinco partes que cubren el papel de la biotecnología en los productos industriales, la remediación ambiental, la agricultura y los agentes farmacológicos. Abarcando desde estudios a microescala hasta macroescala, cubre un enorme dominio de la biotecnología agrícola y se centra en importantes cultivos comerciales (por ejemplo, cacao y café), hongos micorrízicos arbusculares, flujo y distribución de fósforo en suelos agrícolas en la región de América Latina. En general, el libro retrata la importancia de la biotecnología moderna y su papel en la solución de los problemas de la vida moderna. El libro es una referencia fácil para estudiantes en ejercicio, investigadores de ingeniería ambiental, ingeniería química, ingeniería agrícola y otros campos afines. |
