Este conjunto de dos volúmenes de LNCS 12489 y 12490 constituye las actas de la 21.ª Conferencia Internacional sobre IngenierÃa de Datos Inteligentes y Aprendizaje Automatizado, IDEAL 2020, celebrada en Guimaraes, Portugal, en noviembre de 2020.* Los 93 artÃculos presentados fueron cuidadosamente revisados y seleccionado entre 134 presentaciones. Estos artÃculos proporcionaron una muestra oportuna de los últimos avances en ingenierÃa de datos y aprendizaje automático, desde metodologÃas, marcos y algoritmos hasta aplicaciones. Los temas centrales de IDEAL 2020 incluyen desafÃos de big data, aprendizaje automático, minerÃa de datos, recuperación y gestión de información, bioinformática/neuroinformática, modelos bioinspirados, agentes y sistemas inteligentes hÃbridos, aplicaciones de técnicas inteligentes en el mundo real e inteligencia artificial. *La conferencia se realizó de manera virtual debido a la pandemia de COVID-19. |
