La filosofía de Hegel ha sido de fundamental importancia para el desarrollo del pensamiento contemporáneo y para la representación misma de la modernidad occidental. Este libro investiga la influencia de Hegel en el mundo árabe, generalmente considerado "otro" y alejado de Occidente, centrándose específicamente en Siria, Líbano y Egipto. Lorella Ventura analiza la recepción del pensamiento hegeliano y esboza una grilla conceptual para ayudar a interpretar los acontecimientos históricos, culturales y políticos que han afectado a la región árabe en los últimos dos siglos, y arrojar luz sobre algunos aspectos de su compleja relación con el mundo occidental. . |
