Los artÃculos presentados en este volumen se centran en investigaciones fundamentales sobre diversos aspectos de los materiales y estructuras de ingenierÃa civil. El alcance de este volumen es la aplicación de los hallazgos para resolver problemas en ingenierÃa geotécnica, de pavimentos, de concreto y de transporte utilizando técnicas inteligentes, ecológicas y emergentes. La audiencia principal de este trabajo serán investigadores, profesionales y practicantes de todo el mundo.
