Los valores fundamentales de este movimiento están siendo desafiados por un mundo que cambia rápidamente, cambia globalmente y está conectado digitalmente. Las contribuciones presentadas en este volumen reflejan y replantean los roles de los especialistas en marketing y el marketing en la incorporación y el avance de las ideas de la Ilustración escocesa dentro de la teorÃa y la práctica del marketing contemporáneo. Fundada en 1971, la Academia de Ciencias del Marketing es una organización internacional dedicada a promover exploraciones oportunas de fenómenos relacionados con la ciencia del marketing en la teorÃa, la investigación y la práctica.
