Este trabajo proporciona una nueva mirada innovadora a la ética policial, incluidos los resultados de una versión actualizada del clásico Cuestionario de Integridad Policial, incluidos nuevos avances sociales y tecnológicos. Su objetivo es impulsar el estudio de la investigación policial, ampliando y probando la teoría y la metodología de la integridad policial, la relación entre comunidad e integridad, y la influencia del multiculturalismo y la globalización en las actitudes policiales y comunitarias. Este trabajo reúne a académicos experimentados que han utilizado la teoría de la integridad policial y la metodología que la acompaña para medir la integridad policial en once países, y brindan exploraciones avanzadas y sofisticadas del tema. Organizado en tres secciones temáticas, explora la metodología de prueba para comparaciones internacionales, conocimientos sobre las relaciones entre la policía y la comunidad y explora las subculturas policiales. Este libro innovador será de interés para los investigadores en criminología y justicia penal, particularmente interesados en la actuación policial, así como en campos relacionados como la sociología, las políticas públicas y el derecho comparado. |
