Este volumen presenta contribuciones clave al estudio de la ecocrítica en textos literarios y culturales infantiles y juveniles nórdicos, en diálogo con clásicos internacionales. Investiga hasta qué punto los textos para niños y jóvenes reflejan las preocupaciones medioambientales actuales. Los capítulos se agrupan en cinco áreas temáticas: Ética y Estética, Paisaje, Vegetal, Animal y Humano, y juntos exploran las representaciones nórdicas y una concepción o sentimiento nórdico de la naturaleza. Los análisis textuales se complementan con las experiencias vividas de prácticas de aprendizaje al aire libre en preescolares y escuelas capturadas a través de declaraciones de los propios niños. El volumen destaca la creciente influencia de la teoría poshumanista y las huellas continuas de preocupaciones antropocéntricas dentro de la literatura y la cultura infantil contemporáneas, y una comprensión no dualista de la interacción naturaleza-cultura se refleja en la herramienta conceptual del volumen: The Nature in Culture Matrix. |
