Este festschrift en honor al trabajo y legado del Dr. Marc Groenhuijsen ofrece una visión global e internacional de los desarrollos recientes en victimologÃa, adoptando un alcance global pero basado en las experiencias cotidianas de las vÃctimas. Su perspectiva multidisciplinaria refleja una variedad de enfoques y prácticas en victimologÃa, incluidas contribuciones de los campos del trabajo social, la criminologÃa, la sociologÃa, la psicologÃa y el derecho. En primer lugar, el volumen introduce nuevas perspectivas en victimologÃa y luego analiza diferentes formas de victimización en paÃses de todo el mundo. Presta especial atención a los derechos de las vÃctimas y la participación en el sistema de justicia penal, detallando enfoques de justicia centrados en las vÃctimas a través de prácticas como la justicia restaurativa y la restitución.
