Este libro describe el enfoque multidisciplinario necesario para abordar un mejor envejecimiento. El envejecimiento de la población es uno de los mayores desafÃos del siglo XXI. Los sistemas nacionales de salud se ven obligados a adaptarse para brindar una atención adecuada y asequible. La innovación, impulsada por la tecnologÃa digital, es clave para mejorar la calidad de vida y fomentar una vida saludable. La tecnologÃa bien diseñada mantiene a las personas empoderadas, independientes y móviles; sin embargo, a pesar de la adopción generalizada de las TIC en la vida cotidiana, las tecnologÃas de salud digital aún no se han popularizado. Para ello, la tecnologÃa debe ser eficaz, utilizable, barata y diseñada para garantizar la seguridad de los datos gestionados. En la era de la mHealth, la tecnologÃa móvil y el diseño social, este libro describe, en seis secciones, la colaboración entre el saber hacer politécnico y los sectores de las ciencias sociales y la salud en la creación de un sistema para alentar a las personas a adoptar comportamientos saludables y lograr una mejor calidad de vida. |
