Este volumen, primero en su tipo, reúne la psicologÃa discursiva y la psicologÃa de la paz en una sÃntesis práctica convincente. Una serie de colaboradores reconocidos internacionalmente examinan múltiples dimensiones del discurso (oficial e informal, discurso, retórica y texto) para crear y mantener conflictos y construir mediación y reconciliación. Ejemplos de estrategias para abordar conflictos de larga data (Oriente Medio), puntos crÃticos significativos (el caso Charlie Hebdo) y disputas acaloradas actuales (la "crisis" de refugiados en Europa) demuestran métodos discursivos en contexto, ya que unen la teorÃa con la vida real.
