Basado en la "Cuarta Conferencia Internacional sobre la Dinámica de los Desastres" (Kalamata, Grecia, julio de 2019), este volumen incluye contribuciones de expertos que comparten sus últimos descubrimientos sobre desastres naturales y no naturales. Los autores brindan resúmenes de los puntos tácticos involucrados en el alivio de desastres, esquemas de los obstáculos desde la mitigación y preparación hasta la respuesta y recuperación, y usos de modelos matemáticos para describir desastres naturales y provocados por el hombre.
